Effective armor
Single Minute Exchange of Dies
A large proportion of effective production time is lost in set-up times during daily production. The Single Minute Exchange of Dies therefore focuses on set-up time optimization. Using a structured approach, the individual process steps of different set-up processes are scrutinized and successively reduced to a minimum of system downtimes. This method goes hand in hand with other well-known lean instruments in order to develop and implement a set-up culture with as little waste as possible.
In our seminar, participants learn about the historical and theoretical foundations of the method. In dialog with our lean experts, the practical implementation of the method is explained using examples and specific cases from the seminar participants and trained in exercises.
