    What is the diagnosis?

    Processes grow with the company - often quite organically. What is and was required is implemented. However, regular reflection on processes is usually not part of this everyday routine. As a result, there are often processes or procedures that are no longer needed at all or processes that have not adapted to the context of the environment. Changes such as the introduction of an ERP system, mergers with other companies, global expansion or other factors can lead to faulty or at least suboptimal process chains. Value stream mapping is used to identify and improve logical errors or rudimentary processes in workflows and correct them through subsequent redesign. Seminar participants learn the theory of the method in a compact basic training course and then, under the guidance of our specialized WSA/WSD consultants, develop skills for practical application using examples. In addition, the participants are also trained to pass on these skills so that they can subsequently train other employees in the company on the subject.

    Agenda

    Our daily routine in the all-day seminar:

    • 09:30 a.m.: Welcome and presentation of the seminar schedule incl. expectation survey
    • 09:45 a.m.: Start of the basic training What does WSA/WSD mean?
      • Objectives of the method
      • Introduction to the key figure
      • Procedure for WSA/WSD
    • 12:30 p.m.: Lunch break
    • 1:30 p.m.: Group allocation for the WSA/WSD exercise.
      • Role clarification: Who does what?
    • 15:00: Presentation of the group results
    • 3:30 p.m.: Recording the topics for transfer at the workplace
    • 5:00 p.m.: Summary of the day and open feedback over coffee
